Welcome friend!
i am Eva MAYE...
the magic maker.

Hey, I’m Eva — the photographer, hype woman, road-trip planner, and owner of Outcast Photo Co.
I was born in Atlanta, but Tennessee has been home for most of my life. I’ve always been the person who notices the little things—the way someone looks at their partner when they think no one is watching, the golden light right before sunset, or the moments that happen in between the “official” photos. Those are the memories I love preserving most.
Since opening Outcast Photo Co. in 2025, this little dream has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined. What started with a camera and a huge leap of faith has turned into photographing weddings and couples all across the Southeast, with plenty more adventures ahead. I’ve gotten to take my camera to New Orleans, Mississippi, Charleston, and beyond, and getting to tell love stories in new places has quickly become one of my favorite parts of this job.
And somewhere along the way, Outcast stopped being just me.
Meet Carlos — my associate photographer, second shooter, and the flash to my camera.
Carlos has been by my side for nearly a year now, and he’s been to almost every wedding with me since joining the team. At this point, we’ve learned how to work together so smoothly that it honestly feels like second nature.
While I’m usually spending the beginning of a wedding day with the bride, Carlos is with the groom and his side of the day. Having both of us shooting means we can cover twice the ground in half the time, getting through those getting-ready moments, details, bridal party photos, and family portraits more efficiently and leaving more room later in the day for the things that really matter.
But one of my favorite things about Carlos is his eye for the moments most people miss. He notices the little interactions happening in the background, the split-second expressions, and the weird, unexpected moments that somehow end up becoming some of the best photos in the gallery. He also has a knack for coming up with bold ideas that stand out and turn into *that* picture—the one you didn't even know you needed.
When I’m traveling out of state for weddings, Carlos also helps hold down the local Outcast fort. He’s able to take on couples and sessions here at home, so Outcast can keep creating even when I’m off chasing a new adventure somewhere else.
Together, we’ve built a rhythm that is effective, creative, and—most importantly—fun. We know how to work hard, move quickly, read a wedding day, and still have a good time doing it. He’s the flash to my camera, the second set of eyes I trust completely, and a huge part of what makes the Outcast experience what it is today.
Around here, we don't do stiff poses or awkward smiles. I want your session to feel like a date, an adventure, or simply a really good day you'll never forget. Our style is moody, nostalgic, a little adventurous, and full of genuine emotion. We want you to look back at your gallery years from now and remember exactly how everything felt.
When I’m not behind the camera or editing galleries, you’ll probably find me serving tables at Fuji. Yep—one day I’m photographing your wedding, the next I’m serving sushi. Every shift helps me invest back into Outcast with new equipment, education, and bigger goals because I’m committed to making this business everything I’ve dreamed it could be.
Before photography became my career, creativity had already been part of my life for years. I danced for 11 years and have been creating special effects makeup since 2020. Those experiences taught me so much about movement, storytelling, and seeing beauty in unexpected places, and they continue to shape the way I photograph people today.
Most importantly, I’m a mom to my sweet son, Atlas. He’s one of my biggest reminders of why photographs matter so much. Life moves faster than we realize, and preserving the people we love in every season is something I’ll never take for granted.
Whether we’re wandering through downtown, hiking a mountain, standing barefoot on a beach, or celebrating your wedding day surrounded by your favorite people, we’re here to tell your story honestly, creatively, and with our whole hearts.
This is Outcast Photo Co. — a little unconventional, a little moody, always an adventure.
We can’t wait to meet you.
